Dr. Christina Klausner

Board of Education

Mom, small-business owner, and doctor of physical therapy, Dr. Christina Klausner is ready to bring smart, experienced leadership to Mendham Township’s Board of Education.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting!

I’m Dr. Christina Klausner—mom, wife, small business owner, and longtime Mendham Township neighbor. I’m running for the Board of Education because I believe in balanced, thoughtful leadership that puts students first.

As a first-generation American, doctor of physical therapy, and passionate advocate for lifelong learning, I understand the impact of a strong, supportive school system. Mendham Township is home to one of the best public school districts in New Jersey—and I’m committed to preserving what’s working while thoughtfully advocating for improvements where needed.

This campaign is rooted in community, collaboration, and care. I’m proud to be part of a group of candidates who value academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and strong community engagement. Together, we represent a platform of Smart. Experienced. Leadership.—reflecting our shared dedication to the district’s vision: Every Student, Every Day.

If these values resonate with you, I’d be honored to earn your support this Election Day.

My Mission

My mission is to bring Smart. Experienced. Leadership. to the Mendham Township Board of Education—grounded in my clinical expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community-rooted values. I believe strong schools require thoughtful decisions, collaboration, and care. Our children thrive when we work together—every student, every day.

Smart

As a small business owner and healthcare provider, I’ve built a career around critical thinking, resource allocation, and solutions-focused decision-making. I approach budget and planning conversations with strategy, flexibility, and care—seeking ways to protect what works while responsibly planning for the future. I believe we can preserve academic excellence without compromising quality or increasing burden, ensuring our schools remain a pillar of strength for our children and our property values.

Experienced

With over 15 years of leadership in health and wellness, I’ve dedicated my work to helping women, children, and families thrive. I’ve served on the Board of Trustees for the Mendham Township Library, contributed to community wellness initiatives, and founded a healthcare practice that serves hundreds of families. I started two Girl Scout troops, volunteer regularly in classrooms, and support multicultural events by sharing my own story as a first-generation American. My goal has always been to build confidence in our community—child by child, parent by parent.

Leadership

Leadership is more than a title—it’s showing up, speaking out, and bringing people together. It’s something I’ve carried with me from a young age, and it continues to guide how I parent, how I run my business, and how I contribute to this community.

From starting and sustaining a practice that empowers women’s health, to leading Girl Scout troops and volunteering in classrooms, I’ve always believed that real leadership means serving with presence, purpose, and heart. I’ve shared my own cultural background during school events, organized wellness education for students, and worked to connect families to the support they need.

When I speak of Every Student, Every Day, I speak as a mother whose own children have benefited from the incredible openness and accessibility of our schools. I want every parent to know this level of care is here for their child too. I will continue to lead by being visible, accessible, and grounded in the belief that when we lift each other up, our entire district grows stronger.
